About Elvin Arnold
Showcasing my psychology journey and experiences.

My Beliefs
Professional interests:
My primary interest is in the social psychology analysis of virtual reality. I am deeply researching the topic, and I am seeking out academics and institutions with a similar focus. Specifically, I would like to examine whether human interaction is positively or negatively affected by the use of virtual reality technology.
Professional experience:
As a behavior technician for an ABA clinic, I gained extensive experience working with severely autistic children and applying modern strategies to develop social skills. As a volunteer in a University of Washington research psychology lab, I learned how to manage massive databases and conduct statistical analyses with statistics tools like R. As a research assistant for a neurofeedback therapy doctor, I learned how to efficiently and prudently work with both children and adults in a clinical setting while also exercising extensive note-taking skills.
World traveler:
I graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Washington, Seattle. I have lived in many various places ranging from many states in the U.S. like California, Virginia and New Mexico to other countries like South Korea, which has broadened my perspectives and given me insight and interest in the richness of cultures around the world.
Hobbies:
Making media relating to virtual reality and psychology
Composing music for a variety of genres like jazz and electronic music
Exploring the outdoors through hiking, camping and kayaking
Learning about world cultures with an emphasis on South Korea
